COVID-19: Above 60 Residents Of Four States In Nigeria Should Note (Full List)

Recently, COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is quite scaring.
As at 26th December 2020, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, 829 new COVID-19 cases were found in Nigeria, making it total of 83,576 cases of the infection in the country.
However, there is no need to panic on whether the government will impose a new lockdown or not because, the Federal Government has made it clear that there is no plan on imposing another lockdown soon; the Federal Government just gave restrictions on religious gathering; shut down clubs as well as directing citizens above 60 years to stay at home.
In my opinion, despite Federal Government’s announcement that there may not be another lockdown, there are four states that have high chances of declaring a new lockdown due to the high volume of cases recorded each day. The states are, Lagos, FCT, Plateau and Kaduna.
In this backdrop, all citizens residing in Lagos, FCT, Plateau and Kaduna should Note These below:
1. Citizens above 60 years residing in the aforementioned states should abide by the directive of the government for them to remain at home. Most especially, in this yuletide where we have high chances of recording more cases in these states, they should never think of living their homes for any reason.
2. Citizens above 60 years in these states, should not regard government’s directive as a form of new lockdown, rather, they should appreciate it as government’s deliberate attempt to ensure their safety.
