Confusion As Herdsmen Kill Their President, Miyetti Allah Leader.
OnyxNews Nigeria gathered that on Friday night, suspected armed herdsmen killed Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, MACBAN, leaders Alhaji Mohammed Hussain and his counterpart in the Toto local government area, Mohammed Umar in Garaku, Kokona LGA in Nasarawa State.
MACBAN (Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association) is an umbrella organization representing all Fulani herders.
Farmers were killed, women were raped, and farm crops were destroyed by herdsmen as a result of provocation, according to reports.
Herdsmen have been killing people and damaging property at a high rate in Nigeria, with the federal and state governments doing little to stop it. Which has resulted in an uncontrollable security issues in the region.
As a result to this, many ethnic groups in Nigeria are establishing their own security units to deal with the herdsmen’s constant killings in their communities.

“On 2/4/2021 at around 7pm, information was received that unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani bandits attacked and killed one Mohammed Hussaini, the Chairman, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Nasarawa State, and Mohammed Umar, the Chairman, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Toto LG,” said ASP Ramham Nansel, Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer.
“Upon receiving the information, CP Bola Longe, the Commissioner of Police, dispatched Operation Puff Adder II staff to the scene, where the two bodies were retrieved and transported to the hospital.”
“After being declared dead by a medical practitioner, the bodies were deposited at Anthony Memorial Mortuary for post-mortem examination,” he said.
