When Sunday Igboho Will Be Released From Cotonou Prison Revealed
Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, will soon be released from detention by authorities of Benin Republic.
Onyxnewsng gathered that this was made known on Saturday by Abuja-based human rights lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi.
Recall that Sunday Igboho was in July 2021 arrested alongside his wife, Ropo, at an airport in Cotonou while trying to board a plane to Germany.
The secessionist agitator has been in detention after a Benin Republic Court frustrated Nigeria’s government plans to extradite him.
In a post on his Facebook page, Olajengbesi who has since resigned from the team of Nigerian lawyers for Igboho, revealed that the 49-year-old car dealer will be released soon.
He however advised Yoruba leaders to stop being selfish and allow good prevail.
Olajengbesi said: “Chief Sunday Igboho will be out very soon and there will be massive jubilation across the entire Yoruba land.
