‘Why I Can’t Live Without Bible’ – Davido
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently shared in an interview with British GQ the items he considers essential and cannot live without.
Alongside mentioning items like popcorn, wallet, headphones, jewellery, sneakers, sunglasses, and a toiletries bag, he revealed that the Bible is one of his crucial possessions.
Davido explained that he has a Bible app on his tablet, which he regards highly. This app not only contains the Bible but also includes hymns and prayers.
By having this app readily accessible, Davido believes he can maintain his spiritual connection and engage in his religious practices wherever he goes.
In addition to the Bible, Davido expressed his fondness for popcorn.
He stated that he enjoys movies more when he has a bowl of popcorn to accompany them.
He even recalled that the film “Crazy Rich Asians” was the first movie that ever made him cry.
This, he said, was due to the movie’s beautiful depiction of love, and as self-proclaimed “lover boy,” he found a deep emotional connection to the storyline.
Overall, Davido’s list of essentials reflects both his spiritual and personal preferences.
The Bible represents his faith and desire to stay connected to his religious beliefs, while popcorn symbolizes his enjoyment of movies, particularly those that resonate with his romantic nature.
