Thugs Kill Two Immigration Officers In Kebbi
Two immigration officers were killed on Monday when a group of unknown gunmen, suspected to be bandits, attacked them at the Kangiwa border in Kebbi State.
The incident occurred at the entry point in Gari Garba, which is located 12 kilometers away from Kangiwa town.
The deceased officers, Isah Nafui and Garba Haruna Fana, have been laid to rest following Islamic rites.
In response to the tragic event, the Kebbi State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service has launched an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators.
While the command mourns the loss of the officers, they remain committed to their duty of securing the borders and defending against criminal elements.
