BREAKING: Dammy Krane Regains Freedom After 6 Days In Detention
Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has been freed from police custody after a six-day detention.
His release on Thursday, August 29, 2024, follows his arrest on allegations of defamation, on instigated by fellow artist Davido.
Dammy Krane had earlier claimed on social media that his arrest was unlawful and orchestrated by Davido.
Social media commentator Verydarkman (VDM) announced Dammy Krane’s release and shared a video where the singer apologizes to Davido for his previous accusations, which have now gone viral on Instagram.
Captioning the video, VDM wrote, “Dammykrane it out, dear @davido as you have honoured me by listening to my plea in less than 4hrs God will honour you. I believe God is giving him a second chance and I hope he focuses on his music moving on.”
In the video, Dammy Krane said, “I want to say a big thank you to my brother. There are a lot of words that ought not to be said. I want to apologise for Tagbo’s death allegation. David is still my brother. And we are going to find a major ground to resolve everything.”
