Real Madrid’s Luka Modric To Become Minority Owner Of English Club
Real Madrid star Luka Modric is set to become the minority owner of English club, Swansea.
According to a football transfer expert,Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Monday, the deal has been agreed between the club and the Croatian international.
“Luka Modrić, set to become new Minority Owner at Swansea,” Romano tweeted.
“Modrić will become one of the owners of the Championship club, deal agreed.
“This does affect his pro career, as he wants to continue playing for Real Madrid again, as reported last month.”
The Croatia international joined Real Madrid back in 2012 from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 39-year-old has also played for the likes of Dinamo Zagreb and Zrinjski Mostar in the past winning the 2018 Ballon d’Or ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
