Fire guts IDP camp in Borno (Photos)

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that fire gutted the internally displaced person’s camp in Borno State, the North East of Nigeria.
This reliable online news platform understands that about 14 people in the internally displaced persons (IDPs) camp were confirmed dead in the fire outbreak which left 15 others injured and over 1250 people homeless.
Onyxnews Nigeria gathered that the fire outbreak happened about 2.15 pm at the displaced persons camp on Thursday 16, April in Ngala local government area of Borno state, the North East of Nigeria.
Mal Yusuf Gulumbo who shared pictures from the scene on Facebook showed how the fire burnt the place, leaving 1250 houses totally but.
He shared pictures with caption; “Happening Now:
Today the 16/04/2020 fire outbreaks at Ngala IS Camp burned 1250 households, unconfirmed. Fourteen confirmed dead, 7 critical injury and 8 minor injuries.
Still on evacuation and assessment is going on.”
Similarly, Onyxnews Nigeria reported on Wednesday 15, April that fire razed popular market, Dugbe in Ibadan.
This reliable online news platform also reported that goods, properties and other valuables worth millions of naira were destroyed due to the fire.
The fire which broke out at 1:20pm, yesterday afternoon destroyed a building and some shops in the Lebanon area of Dugbe, Ibadan.
According to series of reports on Twitter with video, the fire burnt the building and the row of shops where mattresses, clothes, household goods and electronics are sold.
Men of the fire service from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the state fire service rushed to the scene to stop the inferno.
There was no life lost in the fire, many traders whose shops and goods were burnt were seen lamented and cried for their loss.
