Breaking: One dies as a container-laden truck crashes at Ojota

A Mack container-laden truck has crashed under the bridge in Ogudu, inbound Ojota area of Lagos State, and killed a woman.
The container on the truck was said to have fallen off and trapped three victims, including the not yet identified woman who allegedly lost her life immediately.
Reports said, two men were rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment by officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, while the dead woman was deposited in a mortuary.
The Director-General, LASEMA, OluwafemI Oke-Osanyintolu, had said that the cause of the accident was overspeeding.
He said, “On arrival at the scene, it was observed that there was a lone vehicle – a Mack truck loaded with two containers.
It was revealed that the truck with an unknown number plate, lost control while driving on a high speed. It subsequently fell on its side and trapped three persons, in which one person died instantly.
