After the Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday morning issued Certificate of Return to Douye Diri, the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate in the November 2019 governorship election in Bayelsa State, hoodlums stormed Diri’s house and vandalized properties.
The hoodlums who are alleged angry loyalties suspected to belong to the rival All Progressives Congress whose candidate, David Lyon’s election was nullified by the Supreme Court, stormed Diri’s house on Imgbi Road, Amarata in Yenagoa, vandalized some vehicles in the compound and parts of the building.
