President Buhari makes fresh appointment
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a new Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry.
He has approved the appointment of Professor Lateef Ayeleru as Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry.
The new appointment which took effect from January 10, 2020, was announced in a statement on Friday by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, and was for a single term of five years.
Professor Ayeleru, was born on February 12, 1966, he hails from Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The professor who holds a PhD in African Literature/Applied Linguistics; Masters Degree in French Studies; Bachelor of Arts degree in French as well as other degrees is a recipient and member of various scholarships, prizes, societies and fellowships from local and international organisations.
The Professor of French, Applied Linguistics and African Literature, had done and supervised many research works in academia.
Until his appointment, Professor Ayeleru had three times head the Department of European Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan.
