BREAKING: Nigeria records 245 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), Lagos top the list, Katsina follows, see all affected states

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Nigeria has recorded new coronavirus cases.
This reliable online news platform understands that the country recorded 245 new cases of the pandemic, as total number of confirmed cases in the country rises to 2802 from 15 states and FCT.
While giving the update, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night, May 4 confirmed that Lagos state recorded 76 new cases, the highest among all the states, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded 18 while Katsina follows Lagos as the state has 37 new cases of the deadly virus.
This development was made known via micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday night, May 4 2020, which happens to be the day workers returned to their various duties after the easing of the lockdown directed by the Federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
NCDC stated: “245 new cases of #COVID19; 76-Lagos 37-Katsina 32-Jigawa 23-Kano 19-FCT 18-Borno 10-Edo 9-Bauchi 6-Adamawa 5-Oyo 5-Ogun 1-Ekiti 1-Osun 1-Benue 1-Niger 1-Zamfara 2802 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 417 Deaths: 93.”
