Another Taraba State Commissioner is dead

Another Taraba state Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation ‘Naphtali Kefas’ is dead, exactly a month after the state commissioner for Rural Electrification, Alexander Markus Senlo died.
Kefas was confirmed dead on May 8, 2020.
Hon. Naphtali Kefas who is a member of People Democratic Party (PDP)’s death was confirmed to journalists on Friday by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Bar. Danjuma Adamu, who revealed that he had died on Thursday at the Federal Medical Center, Jalingo.
The state’s Commissioner for Information noted that the late Kefas had suffered for a while after battling with an underlying ailment.
Onyxnews Nigeria learnt that the Naphtali Kefas had earlier been flown to Dubai for treatment of the illness at several occasions.
Before his death, Hon. Naphtali served as a PDP candidate who represented Wukari/Ibi in the federal constituency.
He, however, lost in the recent general election to Hon. Danjuma Shiddi of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Meanwhile, about 25 people lost their lives in Taraba State a few weeks ago, while many others injured in a clash between Shomo and Jole ethnic groups in Lau Local Government Area of the state.
