Outcome of President Buhari’s meeting with security chiefs emerge

President Muhammadu Buhari’s meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Security Chiefs’ details have emerged.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that President Buhari has assured Nigerians that he’s working competently towards the peace and effective security of Nigeria.
President Buhari made this known during his meeting with members of the National Security Council (NSC) on Thursday.
While speaking with State House correspondents after the meeting, the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd.), pointed out that he briefed the Council on the challenges the country is facing.
Monguno said: “Arising from this meeting, I will like to assure all Nigerians that Mr President is fully on board, he is committed to doing whatever is necessary to reduce the spate of violence and insecurity in the country.”
“He is also committed to spending whatever resources he has at his disposal to bring to a quick end to all the issues affecting Nigerians and bringing a lot of sorrows to Nigerians. That is the most important takeaway from today’s meeting.”
In the meantime, onyxnews Nigeria reports that those that were present at the security meeting are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
Also in attendance are security and Service Chiefs, as well as some cabinet members, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama. Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Rauf Aregbesola.
