COVID-19: ‘Why President Buhari does not need to wear face mask’- Presidency

The presidency has revealed in a new tweet why President Muhammadu Buhari does not wear facemask.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the message stated that president Buhari does not need to wear facemask because he operates from his own safe environment within the presidential villa, Aso Rock.
President Buhari’s aide on social media Lauretta Onochia who made this announcement via her Twitter handle, said the Nigerian leader is not breaking any safety rules.

Also speaking about the people visiting Aso Rock, Onochia said that the people coming into Aso Rock are the ones who are expected to wear face masks to protect whoever they are visiting from catching whatever disease they may have.

Onyxnews Nigeria reported that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that 288 new cases of the ravaging disease has been recorded in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases of the deadly disease in the country to 5445.
