BREAKING: Finally, Appeal Court upholds Oshiomhole’s suspension as APC National Chairman
The Court of Appeal has on Tuesday upheld a directive suspending Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress based on lack of merit.
The three man panel of the Court of Appeal has affirmed the suspension of Oshiomhole as Chairman of the ruling party.
Onyxnews Nigeria recalls, an Abuja high court in March had ordered the suspension of Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the APC.
Also, the Court of appeal on March 16 2020 delivered a judgment on Adams Oshiomhole‘s removal as the Chairman of APC.
The appeal court has stayed the execution of the March 4, 2020 order of a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) restraining the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole from further acting in that capacity.
In a three-man panel of justices, led by Justice Abubakar Datti Yahaha was unanimous in granting the reliefs contained in an ex-parte motion argued on on that same day by a senior lawyer to Oshiomhole and the APC, Wole Olanipekun (SAN).
