JUST IN: Armed bandits surround Kasai village in Katsina, residents confined

Armed bandits few hours surrounded Kasai Village in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State and launched an attack on the community.

Onyxnews Nigeria quotes SaharaReporters saying that, a source, said the bandits arrived the village few minutes before launching the attack.

The source said as at the time of the attack, there were panic and tension in the area and this forced many residents took to their heels for safety into nearby bushes.

The source added that soldiers were deployed immediately to the area when notified of the development.
