BREAKING: INEC Headquarters guts fire in Ondo, destroys over 5000 card readers

The Ondo State office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC gutted by fire.
Over 5000 card readers have been damaged by the fire.
The fire outbreak which started around 8:45pm at the ICT unit of the commission is yet to be contained as at press time.
With the cause of the outbreak unknown, men of the fire service are yet to arrive at the scene.
The Ondo State fire service is less than 500 meters from the commission, which is located in Alagbaka area of Akure, the state capital.
Meanwhile, the fire is happening a month to the Governorship election in the state which had been scheduled for October 10, 2020.
