A Presidential Aide has allegedly resigned amid #LekkiMassacre.

OnyxNews Nigeria reports that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi has reportedly resigned.
Though, unconfirmed, Ogunlesi is said to have handed in his resignation letter on October 20, 2020, the day of the unfortunate shooting and killing of the protesters at the Lekki toll gate.
Some Nigerians took to micro-blogging site, Twitter to disclosed that the presidential aide resigned in the heat of the shooting of peaceful #EndSARS protesters which took place in Lekki, Lagos state last Tuesday.
A check on his Twitter handle, displayed the last time he was active, or tweeted/retweeted any post was on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Nigerians have been sharing comments on the development with some calling for him to be forgiven over his past defence of the Buhari-led government, while others state otherwise.
