Universities Leaders Meet To Call Off Strike.
OnyxNews Nigeria quotes reports by The Nation saying the leaders of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities and Allied Institutions (NASU) will meet this week to consider the latest offer made by the Federal Government regarding their ongoing strike.
This online news platform gathered that the Joint Action Committee of the unions will decide whether to accept the offer or continue with the nationwide strike which is already ten days gone.
The SSANU and NASU had on February 5, 2021 announced the commencement of strike action in an offer to get the Federal Government to comply with their demands.
