Senate Confirms Appointment Of The New Chairman Of EFCC.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the senate has confirmed the appointment of Abdulrasheed Bawa as the new chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Bawa was accompanied into the Senate Chambers by his family members and political associates.
Bawa told the Senate that the constitution of the country will guide his actions should he be confirmed as EFCC Chairman and promised to leave the EFCC in a better place than he met it at the end of his tenure in office.

He holds a BA in Economics from Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto.
The 40-year-old has worked with the anti-graft agency for 16 years and is a Certified fraud examiner and anti-money laundering expert.
