Man United Places Manchester City Again, Defeats City

Man United have defeated City rivals, Manchester City 2-0 in an English Premier League game played at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

OnyxNews Nigeria understands that United opened score line in the second minute of the game, when Anthony Martial was brought down in the box by Gabriel Jesus barely a minute into the derby.

The penalty was converted by Bruno Fernandes even with a touch by goalkeeper Ederson, before City took over possession a few minutes but failed to find the back of the net.

In the 50th minute, United double their lead with Luke Shaw finding the back of the net from a Marcus Rashford help.

Although City remain at the top of the EPL table with 65 points, the win moved United to second position with 54 points.
