OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the result of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private candidates 2021-First Series.

This online news platform understands that WAEC said private candidates who sat for the WASSCE examination would see their WAEC results today, Tuesday, April 6.
The examination body disclosed this in a tweet on its official Twitter handle, on Monday night.
“Breaking: Results of candidates that sat for the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2021-First Series will be released tomorrow. Details loading,” WAEC wrote on Monday.

WAEC had in March cancelled the First Series Literature-in-English (2&1,3) examination of the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

How to Check WAEC Results 2020 Online.
Follow the procedures outlined below to check your 2020 WAEC May/June result online.
Step 1. Go to WAEC result checking portal at http://www.waecdirect.org.
Step 2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
Step 3. Select your Examination Year i.e. 2020
Step 4. Select your Type of Examination i.e. MAY/JUNE WASSCE
Step 5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of the WAEC result checking scratch card.
Step 6. Enter the PIN on your Scratch card.
Step 7. Finally, click “Submit” button to get your 2020 WAEC Result.
