OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Chief Ugumba Uche Nwosu, a former Imo State governorship aspirant and Chief of Staff to former Governor of the State, Rochas Okorocha, has donated N1 million to Mary Daniel, the amputee “bottled water” seller.
Mary’s condition came to public scene on Wednesday, April 7 when a Good Samaratan, Ibitoye Ayodele, took photos of her hawking her wares around Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos.
One of the photos showed the young lady, whose right leg has been amputated, leaning on her walking stick as she defied her condition to hawk the bottle water.

According to Ayodele, in 2016, Mary was involved in an auto crash that claimed the lives of her parents and many others.
He explained that the young lady was forced to quit school after the accident as she had no one to pay her fees.
Since the photos of Mary, became public, many Nigerians have began to donate various sums of money to assist her so as to get her life back on track.
Meanwhile, OnyxNews Nigeria understands that Nwosu contested for the Imo State gubernatorial seat in 2019.
