BREAKING: INEC Data Centre On Fire (Video)

INEC Data Centre is on fire.
OnyxNews Nigeria learnt that a fire outbreak has burnt down some parts of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Kano.
This online news platform understands that the fire incident at INEC Data Centre, which happened around 9:30 am at the Data Processing Centre of the INEC office, burnt laptop computers, desktops and the entire building, Daily Trust gathered.
An eyewitness told Daily Trust that the fire was controlled by both the Federal and Kano state fire services.
“They arrived about 20 minutes after the fire outbreak.
“Even though the delay has added to the fire to burn almost all the building but they were able to control the situation.”

Some staff members, who witnessed the incident, stated that the fire started following the fluctuations of electricity power voltage which abruptly resulted in the blasting of some air conditioners at the centre.
“In the data centre are laptops, batteries and other related gadgets for data processing activities,” one of them said.
The eyewitnesses added that close to the INEC Data Centre is a box containing card readers but they were not affected.
