While mourning the death of the politician, PDP described it as one death too much for the party.
Onyxnewsng reports that the major opposition party said it feared that the death of Shodipe, who the party described as a dogged secretary at this time was a big blow that might slow the re-engineering of PDP in the state, but quickly submitted to the will of God, just as it prayed for the soul of the departed to enjoy at the bosom of the Lord.
“The Lagos State PDP also prays for the family to have the fortitude to bear the monumental loss,” the statement said.
A report says the popular Lagos politician, who has been nursing an unrevealed ailment for some time now, died earlier today, Wednesday in Lagos. The family is yet to announce his burial arrangements.
Meanwhile, PDP has directed that all her flags all over Lagos State be flown at half-mast and special prayers should be held for the departed at all her meetings statewide.
