Former Nigerian Military Administrator Is Dead.

Onyxnewsng reports that a former information minister during General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida’s regime and later military Administrator of Rivers State, retired Brigadier General Anthony Ukpo is dead.

Brigadier General Anthony Ukpo died on Monday morning in a hospital.

Constitutional lawyer, Leonard Anyogu, confirmed the death of the former military administrator.

According to him, “I can confirm that the former Milad died this morning as a result of lingering sickness. It is very sad. Cross River State has lost an asset.”

General Ukpo’s death is coming weeks after two of his elder siblings, Madam Lydia Ukpo who died in the US, while Archbishop Joseph Edra Ukpo also died.
