All Saints Cathedral Church was filled to the brim by Ndi Anambra who trooped out en masse to welcome their son, the former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi
Obi who is from Anambra State and lives in Onitsha perfectly understands what Ndi Anambra need which is an enabling environment for trading to thrive .

When that is done it will be easier for goods to arrive Onitsha and with boat ,you can get to Patani from Onitsha .
The incoming President of Nigeria, Mr Peter Obi promised to open up the road from Anam and Nzam which will make transportation easier for those going to Abuja and when it is done, it won’t take anyone more than three hours to get to Abuja .
“Many people don’t know that there is a road that can connect Atani to Rivers State which can be possible when a bridge is built there and I will do it to aid transportation which is an advantage to the economy of Anambra State”, Obi said.
Enugu International Airport is under-utilized and Obi promised to build Enugu International Airport to a standard that anyone in South East can fly to anywhere in the world .
On the issue of insecurity which is destroying the economy of South East, Obi promised to restore the dignity of Police officers, employ more intelligent men and improve their welfare which will spur them to work . Continuing, he said that his government will also fight insecurity with job creation for when people are engaged in productivity, insecurity will be a thing of the past .
It was indeed a message of hope for Ndi Anambra from the man who lives with us and understands our problem for ‘he who does not understand your problem cannot solve it’.
