Davido Timeless Gets One Million Stream Within Six Hours

Popular Nigerian musician, Davido’s much-awaited album, ‘Timeless’, on Friday gathered one million streams on Boomplay in just six hours after it was released on the streaming platform.

The album is also currently the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music

The Afro beat Star announced the release of the 17-track album on his social media pages in the early hours of Friday.

He talked about the process he went through from his previous album to the latest and also gave Chioma Rowland, his wife, a shout-out while appreciating his fans and people who ensured the completion of the project.

“At long last – We are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least,” Davido wrote on Twitter.

Singles from the ‘Timeless’ album also topped Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, from number 1 to 17.
