Mohbad: Portable Reveals Why Mohbad Was Killed
Controversial street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has claimed that the death of rapper Mohbad can be linked to betrayal.
The ‘Zazuu Zeh’ star said that those who allegedly killed Mohbad are ”enemies” who did so to implicate his former label boss, Naira Marley.
According to Portable, the late ‘Ko Por Ke’ crooner was nurtured and supported by Marlian Music but turned his back on them.
He said Mohbad accused the label of not showing love, which led to his departure and affiliation with Naira Marley’s rivals. The singer added Mohbad’s association with these rivals, which ultimately led to his untimely death.
Portable said; “It was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor. He was chilling with Naira Marley’s opponents, that’s why they killed him.
“Don’t be so bad in case you want to see tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.
“Mohbad was killed because he was a betrayer. We help these young artistes and make them blow, but they repay us with evil.
“After everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he later said they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to associate with the enemies of Naira Marley.
“Those ones then killed him to implicate Naira. God will save Naira from this mess because he only helped Mohbad out of a good heart, but he betrayed him.”
