Kogi Guber : PDP Candidate, Dino Lost Own LG to APC
In the Kogi state governorship election, PDP candidate Dino Melaye lost his local government to APC candidate Ahmed Ododo.
According to the result released by Ijumu local government returning officer, Dr Samuel Obasan, APC (10,524), PDP (6,909), ADC (1,898), and SDP (356). The PDP candidate, Dino Melaye, is from Ijumu LGA.
On Saturday, the PDP candidate, Dino Melaye, alleged vote buying and pre-filled result sheets in Ogori/Magongo LGA and called for the suspension of the election.
INEC subsequently suspended the election in nine wards.
