Music Legend 2baba Inspired My Music Career, Singer Peruzzi Speaks
Tobechukwu Okoh Victor, popularly known as Peruzzi, a Nigerian singer, has expressed his admiration for 2Baba, crediting him as a mentor and source of inspiration.
He acknowledged that he has learned a lot from 2Baba’s lyrics and musical style.
Peruzzi made these comments during an interview on the Zero Conditions podcast, a show hosted by Pop Central.
He said, “2Baba is my daddy [mentor]. I copy from him a lot. If you listened to ‘Amaka’, you’d notice I copied his verse I just changed some things on it.
“Till now, I still copy from him. I have to say the truth.”
Peruzzi made a bold claim during the podcast interview, asserting that he is a special artist because he is well-rounded and has a wide range of musical skills.
He stated that many artists only excel in certain areas, while he is capable of doing “everything” when it comes to music.
“I can do everything when it comes to music. You’ve met every artist, they know only some things, they don’t know everything. That’s why I am special,” he added.
