Transfer: AC Milan Loan Daniel Maldini To Monza
On Wednesday, Daniel Maldini, the son of renowned Italian footballer Paolo Maldini, finalized a loan move from AC Milan to Monza for the remainder of the season.
This comes after Maldini’s previous loan spell at Empoli, where he made an appearance as a substitute in the team’s 3-0 home loss to Milan last Sunday.
Last season, the 22-year-old was loaned to Spezia, where he scored against his parent club in an intense 2-1 defeat in November 2022.
Maldini’s first senior career goal came against Spezia while playing for Milan the previous season.
Despite having made a few appearances this season, he is yet to register a goal or assist.
Monza, who were promoted in 2022, have established themselves as a solid Serie A team and currently occupy the 11th position in the league.
Raffaele Palladino’s side will face the league leaders, Inter Milan, on Saturday.
