LaLiga: I Don’t Regret Decision To Leave Barcelona – Xavi
Barcelona Manager Xavi Hernandez has reaffirmed his belief that stepping down in the summer was the right choice, despite the team’s recent improvement in performance.
Following Saturday’s 4-0 victory over Getafe, Barcelona now sits in second place in LaLiga, securing their fourth league win in five matches.
Despite closing the gap to five points behind league leaders Real Madrid, Xavi maintains that he stands by his decision to depart at the conclusion of the season.
In response to whether he felt any remorse about leaving Barcelona, Xavi responded with a definitive, “No, quite the opposite.”
“The decision is very correct because the team has taken a step forward.
“I am very convinced of the decision. Not for me, but for the club. And thank the fans from the bottom of my heart for being by my side.”
