I Always Watch His Games – Musiala Reveals His Football Idol
Bayern Munich and Germany midfielder Jamal Musiala has disclosed that Lionel Messi from Inter Miami is his football role model.
Musiala emphasized that he admires Messi’s gameplay and always watches his matches.
He expressed his gratitude for being nominated by Messi for the 2023 Kopa Trophy, an honor he values.
Earlier, Musiala secured the second position behind Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid in the Kopa Trophy, with the winner chosen by a panel of former Ballon d’Or recipients.
The Kopa Trophy is an annual award presented to the best under-21 player globally, coinciding with the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
During a recent interview with journalist Phillip Kessler, Musiala shared his sentiments, as reported by All About Argentina X.
“I thought that was a big honour. Messi was always my role model growing up.
“I always watched his games and admired him for his game.”
