BREAKING: Popular ‘Jenifa’s Diary’ Actress Dies At 40
Popular Nollywood actress, Adejumoke Aderounmu, widely known for her role as “Esther” in Funke Akindele’s popular TV series ‘Jenifa’s Diary‘, has passed away.
Onyxnewsng gathered that Aderounmu’s brother, Adeola Aderounmu, confirmed her passing through a solemn Instagram post. The post, featuring Aderounmu’s obituary photo, expressed his sentiment: “You are in a better place now, my sister.”
A close friend of the deceased, Oluwabanke Funmi, shared condolences on Twitter, saying, “Rest in peace Aderounmu Adejumoke.” Expressing disbelief, she added, “Waited hours for her cousin to delete her post and say it was a prank or a mistake but…”
Born on March 26, 1984, the actress passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in a private hospital. The cause of her death remains undisclosed at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, a funeral service was conducted for Aderounmu Adejumoke at Owu Baptist Church, located in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
