JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints Eight New Secretaries Permanently
President Bola Tinubu has on Monday, appointed eight permanent secretaries to the Federal Civil Service to address existing gaps in various states and geopolitical zones.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed in a statement themed ‘President Tinubu appoints eight new Permanent Secretaries,’ on Monday evening.
He said, “the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended that the new permanent secretaries be appointed after diligent selection.”
They are as follows:
1. Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)
2. Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)
3. Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)
4. Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)
5. Kalba Usman (Gombe State)
6. Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)
7. Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)
8. Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
Onanuga noted that this marks the second batch of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following an earlier selection in June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East, and South-South regions.
The President called upon the newly appointed permanent secretaries to exhibit heightened dedication, diligence, and creativity in their service to the nation.
