Tinubu’s Two-Year Legacy Applauded by Bamidele, Sanwo-Olu, Oyebanji at Ado Ekiti Chieftaincy Event

At a vibrant ceremony in Ado Ekiti on Saturday, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele and Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Biodun Oyebanji praised President Bola Tinubu’s two-year tenure as transformative and impactful, calling for continued national support.

The event marked the conferment of the Atobatele of Ado Ekiti title on Prince Tajudeen Olusi by the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, with attendance from notable traditional rulers and political leaders from across the region.

Bamidele, speaking on behalf of Tinubu, hailed Olusi as a “true democrat” whose service has shaped Nigeria’s political scene. “This is not only an honour to Prince Olusi, it is also an honour to Lagos State and Yoruba land,” he said, urging unity.

Governor Sanwo-Olu underscored Tinubu’s achievements in economic recovery and security, noting improvements in inflation, debt repayment, and currency stability. “We will see a lot more in terms of dividends of democracy for our country,” he assured.

Governor Oyebanji praised Olusi’s leadership and humility, calling him a mentor and progressive politician. The Ewi of Ado Ekiti highlighted the cultural and societal significance of the chieftaincy title.

Prince Olusi thanked the traditional council and pledged to continue fostering leadership and unity in Yoruba land and Nigeria.
