The Head of Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mrs. Grace Adayilo, has passed away.
Reports indicate that she collapsed early Monday morning and could not be revived. The cause of her death is yet to be determined.
Mrs. Adayilo was appointed in October last year by President Bola Tinubu as the first female and indigenous Head of Service of the FCT.
An indigene of Abuja, she was the first to hold the position in the FCT Administration.
Her final official assignment was last Thursday, when she represented the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, at the G7 security meeting in Abuja.
