VIDEO: Watch Moment Staff Jump From Storey Building As Fire Guts UBA Lagos Island Branch
A branch of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) on Lagos Island has been gutted by fire.
The exact cause of the blaze remains unclear, but a video circulating on social media shows some bank staff attempting to jump from the upper floors of the building in a bid to escape. Others were seen struggling to get out through the windows.
As of the time of filing this report, emergency agencies have yet to issue an official statement.
