COVID-19: See huge donations Jack Ma makes to Nigeria, South Africa, others

The founder of Ali Baba Group, Jack Ma has made a huge donation of materials to fight the deadly COVID-19 in Nigeria and other African countries.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Nigeria and fifty-three other African countries are set to receive over 300,000 coronavirus test kits and 300 ventilators donated by Ali Baba Foundation to African Union Member States.
According to Punch, also donated to tackle the pandemic in Africa were over 2m masks, 200,000 clothing sets, 200,000 face shields, 2,000 thermal guns, 100 body temperature scanners and 500,000 pairs of gloves.
While South Africa had conducted 114,711 tests, Ghana 60,916 tests, Egypt 55,000 tests and the giant of Africa, Nigeria had only conducted 7,153 tests.
Jack Ma, who made this known on Monday, said the donation was the third batch to Africa and it would immediately be delivered to the African Centres for Disease Control.
On March 16, Jack ma made donations of the first batch of medical supplies such as: thousands of test kits, masks, medical use protective suits and face shields to each of the 54 African countries and African Union Member States.
Also, on 6 April, the founder of Ali Baba Group delivered the second donation which are hundreds of ventilators, thousands of suits and face shields, thermometers, a million of swabs and extraction kits, also gloves.
The supplies which were distributed by Ethiopian Airlines, dispatched Nigeria’s share at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

So far, Africa has recorded over 20,000 coronavirus cases and over 1000 death cases.
