BREAKING: Nigeria records fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and no new death

Nigeria records fresh cases of the raging coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that the Nigeria has recorded 64 fresh cases of the deadly pandemic disease, taking the total number of cases of the ravaging COVID-19 to 1337 in the country.

This reliable online news platform understands that the NCDC made the development known via the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday night.

NCDC said: “64 new cases of #COVID19 reported; 34-Lagos 15-FCT 11-Borno 2-Taraba 2-Gombe As at 11:20pm 27th April- 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 255 Deaths: 40.”

The agency further explained that one case of the disease previously reported as a Lagos State case, is now reported as an FCT case.

So far, the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos is 764 and FCT has 157 cases.
