IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu lists fresh request before United States of America

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has listed a new request before the government of United States of America.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the IPOB leader urged the United States Department of State to appoint a special envoy to protect “Christians in Nigeria”.
The IPOB leader, whose group had since been proscribed by the Nigerian Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari, made this call on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday, August 20.
Nnamdi Kanu said this while quoting Open Doors USA 2020 World Watch List ranking Nigeria number one in “Christians killed for their faith”. Open Doors USA is committed to aiding Persecuted Christians around the globe.
Unhappy with Open Doors USA 2020 World Watch List, Kanu said as the persecution of Christians in Nigeria continues to worsen, he urges the U.S State Department to appoint a special envoy to “protect these innocent children, women and men.”
Kanu tweeted: “According to @OpenDoors’ 2020 World Watch List, Nigeria ranks No. 1 in Christians killed for their faith. As the persecution of Christians in Nigeria continues to worsen, I urge the @StateDept to appoint a special envoy to protect these innocent children, women and men!”
