Ahead of June 12 protest, the military has begun a show of force as Osun warns protesters.
Onyxnews reports that Osun State Government has warned protesters planning to occupy the state on June 12 to beware of those that might be planning to hijack the protest.
The Special Adviser to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on security, Mrs. Abiodun Ige, said the state government will not allow anybody to rupture the peace and tranquility that have existed in the state.
She said those planning to stage protests for June 12 celebration should be mindful of some hoodlums who may want to hijack the protest and use it to perpetrate evil.
According to her, while the state government will continue to respect the freedom of expression and movement as enshrined in the constitution, it would not open its eye to turn protest to problems in the state.
