Breaking: FAAN Banned Ghana Must Go Bags At All Airport In Nigeria
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has issued a ban on the use of ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags by passengers at all airports in Nigeria.
The agency has stated that the use of these bags poses a security risk and may disrupt the efficient functioning of the airports. FAAN has asked all passengers to refrain from using these bags at the airports, and has urged them to use other types of luggage instead.
According to a circular issued by FAAN, the use of ‘Ghana Must Go’ sacks by passengers travelling through the country’s international airports has been banned.
The circular, which was signed by Manager, Airport Services, Henok Gizachew, explained that the ban is due to the damage caused by these sacks to airport equipment and the resulting cost to airlines and the airport authority.
Gizachew added that passengers are required to use rectangular cartons or hardcovers for their luggage instead of ‘Ghana Must Go’ sacks.
