UK Government Releases List Of Companies Eligible To Sponsor Nigerians’ Work Visa In 2024
The United Kingdom government has recently revised its roster of companies and organizations authorized to sponsor skilled immigrants under the temporary worker immigration route. As of the latest update on January 12, 2024, the list now encompasses 99,856 approved entities, as outlined on the government’s website.
This indicates a notable rise, with 31,226 more companies included compared to the 68,630 approved entities recorded in January 2023.
The listed companies span various sectors, including technology, commerce, education, media, advertising, and engineering, among others.
The skilled worker route includes charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility, senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.
The UK government, as stated on its website, notes, “This document details worker and temporary worker sponsors, providing information about the category of workers they are licensed to sponsor and their sponsorship rating. The skilled worker route encompasses charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility for senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.”
