BREAKING: DSS Takes Over SERAP Abuja Office
Officers affiliated with the Department of State Services, DSS have assumed control over the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project’s office in Abuja.
SERAP disclosed this development in an announcement via its official channel, X stating that the officers are seeking a meeting with the organization’s leadership.
The association called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene.
“President Tinubu must immediately direct the SSS to end the harassment, intimidation and attack on the rights of Nigerians,” SERAP urged.
Coincidentally, this occurrence unfolded shortly after SERAP urged Tinubu to utilize his leadership position and influence to instruct the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited to expeditiously reverse the seemingly unlawful and unconstitutional surge in the retail price of premium motor spirit, commonly known as petrol.
