IWD: Your Strength Fuels Our Nation’s Future – Tinubu Celebrates Women
President Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, honored the resilience, brilliance, and vital contributions of Nigerian women in a heartfelt message commemorating the 2025 International Women’s Day.
Describing them as the foundation of the nation, he acknowledged their role in driving progress across homes, farms, boardrooms, and communities.
However, he noted that even 30 years after the Beijing Declaration, many women continue to encounter obstacles that hinder their full potential.
“Our administration is committed in our Renewed Hope pledge to dismantle obstacles, expand access to finance, and ensure equitable opportunities in governance, agriculture, and every sector.
“To our mothers, daughters and sisters – your strength fuels Nigeria’s future. Together, we rise!” the President wrote. (NAN)
