“We Have No Choice Than to Expel Wike from our Party” – PDP Governors

Seeking to solidify its foundation and strategize for the 2027 general elections, the PDP Governors’ Forum and NWC met in Ibadan, Oyo State, under the auspices of Governor Seyi Makinde.

The high-level meeting, which included NEC members, focused on critical issues impacting the party’s unity and stability. While addressing the contentious National Secretary position, with the Supreme Court’s endorsement of Hon. SKE Udeh Okoye as a backdrop, the gathering also tackled the political situation in Rivers State, involving Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

A significant agenda item was the party’s response to demands for Nyesom Wike’s removal, with leaders emphasizing the importance of peaceful resolutions.
