BREAKING: Coronavirus increases as Osun state confirms six new cases

The government of Osun State has on Thursday 2, April 2020, confirmed six new cases of coronavirus in the state.
The six new cases are among 127 Cote d’Ivoire that have been tested.
Onyxnews Nigeria understands that Osun State had already recorded fourteen cases of the COVID-19 on Wednesday, with the new recorded cases, it makes it a total of 20 the deadly pandemic in the state.
Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rafiu Isamontu confirmed the six fresh cases to according to The Nations through a phone conversation. He said, “The new cases with the previous case of COVID-19 has turned twenty.”
Meanwhile, Nigeria has recorded fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday night.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 23 fresh cases of the deadly coronavirus, which brings the total number of the pandemic in the country to 174.
This was revealed by the centre on Wednesday night through its official Twitter handle.
NCDC tweeted: “Twenty three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria – Nine in Lagos, seven in the FCT, five in Akwa Ibom, one in Kaduna and one in Bauchi State.
“As of 08:00 pm on 1st of April, there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths,” the tweet said.
